AFS Forum Guidelines
Welcome to the AFS Forum--a place for sharing experiences, asking questions and exchanging information about international exchange and intercultural learning. This forum is monitored by AFS-USA.
Guidelines for posting are as follows:
1. No flaming -- be courteous and respectful of other participants.
2. No personal info -- don't share your home address, telephone number or password.
3. No spamming -- please stay on topic and no multiple messages.
4. No illegal, inappropriate, or vulgar material or postings -- our country's laws determine what is illegal and the bulletin board monitor will determine what is inappropriate and vulgar.
5. You can SCREAM if you want to (use all caps) but we encourage participants to ignore you if you scream too much, too loudly, or are just being a pain.
The forum moderators are the ultimate arbiters of what stays and what is edited or deleted. Should the moderators encounter repeated concerns with a user, the user will no longer be welcome to participate. Decisions are made based upon the stated purpose of helping people share information and experiences that support and encourage international exchange, intercultural learning, and the AFS mission of building a more just and peaceful world.
